Friends of Egglescliffe School Music
BECAUSE EVERY CHILD IN OUR COMMUNITY HAS THE RIGHT TO MAKE MUSIC
Who We Are
We are parents, carers, teachers, musicians, alumni and members of our community who are passionate about music education
Egglescliffe is a flourishing and highly successful state school in Stockton-on-Tees. It has a long tradition of excellence in music education with a range of high-performing ensembles including a Chamber Choir, Orchestra, Brass Band and Big Band. Its ensembles have performed at venues such as St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Durham Cathedral.
The Friends of Egglescliffe School Music is a registered charity committed to supporting music education within our community. Through fundraising we provide financial assistance to afford students the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument and play in an ensemble.
